Description

Emeren is a global renewable energy developer specializing in solar power and energy storage solutions across the full project lifecycle from development and financing to construction and long-term operation. With a multi-continental portfolio, Emeren focuses on maximizing grid-connected clean energy generation while accelerating the transition away from fossil fuel–based power.

The climate impact of renewable electricity delivered to the grid is quantified using Mitigia’s proven methodology. By applying a mitigation-period-specific correlation factor, the model determines how effectively each kilowatt-hour of clean energy displaces fossil-based generation. This ensures that emission reductions are not only measurable, but also transparent, consistent, and fully auditable.

Through the Mitigia Carbon Credit Issuance Program, this excess energy is converted into Voluntary Carbon Units (VCUs), based on standardized calculations, verified data, and full legal alignment enabling direct participation in global carbon markets.

Emeren goes beyond traditional energy generation by transforming clean electricity into measurable climate value. Its projects deliver both renewable power and verified carbon impact, allowing companies to reduce emissions, strengthen ESG performance, and contribute to real, system-level decarbonization.
